Cuddeback cuddelink - not receiving pictures

if the repetitive images are form one particular remote i would clear that que also.
the cable you need should be on there, they also have a wire wrapped version.
Ok ill try clearing the cue if clearing SD didn't help.
also have another question sorry customer service seems a bit overwhelmed. I got 4 of the pw 3624 external D packs. Am I missing something cuz neither of the cables will connect into the battery pack the brown side does connect into the J camera but not into the pack.

can you post a pic of the cable ends and the battery pack input? both cables should have an end that plugs into the pack.

the cable with 2 black ends(all black) is for use with G series, on the cable plugged into the J, that black end should plug into the battery pack, if for some reason it doesnt call customer service and they will send you another cable.

As u can see it does not go in far enough to seal around o ring or make an electrical connection. I need the end on the left with the locking tab molded into the housing. Can I just cut them and splice the connectors then heat shrink tube the splice?

i would call and get a new cable but for now you could trim the ring off so it will go in all the way. I will check at the main office tomorrow and see what they are shipping. if this is the new 3624 it should work, where did you buy them?

then its missing a cable that should have been in the box, you threw me off when you said they were PW 3624(which is the newest version of this booster), an additional cable was added/sent out to retailers to the 3358 and some retailers failed to add it to the box, or the person you bought home from didnt include them. If you call customer service and explain to them what they have they should send you the correct cables. The 3358 in the box you posted should have had the cables in it, im guessing whoever you bought them from removed them for some reason. EBay is the wild west when buying products, find a retailer that stocks and uses the system to avoid things like this. Regardless, cuddeback should take care of you.

When I install the battery packs the j’s Need the 12 AA batteries Internal correct since there 12v and the D’s are 9v I’ll need both unlike the k that only needs the D’s on external to run properly.

no, 12 aa is 9 volts, 6 d is also 9 volts , you can run them that way as long as both are alkaline(never run lithium in camera with alkaline in booster) and you realize all batteries will drain concurrently and your report will not show external. The K is the same way, it would be 9 volts in the camera and 9 in the booster. The only way to have external run first and then switch to internals is to have the camera run on 4 d's. You can get a 4 d replacement battery pack for the J's.

Ok that’s what I’ve got running now on 4 cams is the 6d pack that attaches to the back of the J I like those best since they fit in the Security safes. Again thank you for your endless knowledge and quick responses John hopefully they have u in for a nice raise when this system really takes off!!!!!!!

@john volkman I have been looking through the pages here and you seem to be the expert on these CuddeLinks... I looked all over CuddeBack.com for support and I just keep getting pointed to the video's and manuals so hoping you can direct me a bit. I setup and deployed 4 camera's 1- G-2+ series and 3 - J-2's... everything worked in my house. Deployed in the field (disclaimer I don't have them now they are 90min away). Made sure Home (G series) had good signal to ATT Cell did the cell test with positive results, then deployed the J's making sure to watch the Link signal none are under 46 range. This all happened Saturday. Sunday I triggered one of them walked in front of it, Monday I got a picture from 2 of them with the Sunday date time stamp. I get daily reports that show all is well... I have tried to tweak some of the setting through camp, some take some don't... issued the take picture command from all 4 cams, 2 did 2 didn't.

Keep getting daily reports that show all is well but no more pics and when I issue the command to take pic it doesn't follow, will show status as current but no pic comes back. Some of my changes issued through camp interface take and save others don't. Anything you can suggest to get things moving/working? I will be back on property this weekend and able to physically verify camera's and screens... but is there anything I can do ahead to speed this up? Thanks for your time and direction.

is the g your cell unit ? you worded it as the g was a home and you also had a cell if you have tow units set as the home this is the issue. The only home should be the cell unit. pm me your username and password for the cuddelink site and ill take a look at your network , one thing could be your cell rate- if its anything less than 5 or one hour it will not work with a network.

I had Cell rate set to 12hrs.... which means I would get 2 feeds a day, but while I was trying to troubleshoot I brought it down to 2hrs to see if I could get a picture to come back. Changed Cell Rpt to 4 times to speed up the changes and calls to the cams. I read that on here somewhere so thought I would try that.

that is why you weren't getting pics , i have sent you a pm but your cams took 21 images the last 3 days so the only time you would see images is when the report is sent, 30 is the max there que will hold so it will send if it hits 30 or the cell rate, whatever comes first. give changes 12-18 hours to take place. , i also dont make lots of changes at once. do a few at time.

John, I'm having similar problems. My image queue on this one cam is building up. We have 3 cell systems and 28 total cams in the field and never ran into an image queue. Any thoughts?
