This is going to sound very morbid, and it is. I wish all drugs were legal and the money spent on research and development for OD medication was redirected to something useful. You wanna do drugs? Fine. You wanna take it too far? Also fine. Bye. Like most things there aren’t even consequences for an OD. Let a people watch someone die slowly in the street foaming at the mouth. They will never touch a drug again…

You want morbid…I’ve often thought it was money well spent for a government organization to inject a lethal agent to large batches of heroin, meth, fentanyl, crack, etc that is a one and done. Our society would get exponentially better with in weeks.

My thoughts are if it’s unjust, make it just, reduce the sentence. But releasing someone all together who committed a heinous crime for votes and or money is an abuse of power.
Additionally blanket releasing j6 people I don’t believe is the right move. Sends a bad message. People did forcefully enter the capitol of the United States. That’s illegal. Maybe reduce the sentences of some and release some all together but a blanket release seemed awfully political

For bill loser…what Biden did was 1000x worse. But I want my side to be better. When you stoop low to meet the bar of the other side you end of being just as guilty.

I get it but that completely bucks the rule of law that we elected a man to uphold. But I guess if the crime was on the winning side it’s ok.

Yeah I've tried to see if I can get myself to join in that line of thinking, but just haven't been able to yet. I respect a lot of people who say that, so it's interesting to me. The way people are dying from fentanyl is scary. Hate to think about someone's kid. When I mention that, people sometimes hit back with "can say the same thing about guns" which I think is a ridiculous argument or comparison. Wish I knew the answers about drugs. That's why the debate rages on. Wish we (or the Mexican army) could drop bombs on cartels.

I should replace R&D with production. By all means if an officer or otherwise innocent person is exposed to something harmful, there should be a counteragent available to them. Mass production of the drug (only enriching big pharma) is money wasted on abusers...

Ok, I'm not going to have every detail in my head but before I forget about this totally.
Basically, Ross embarrassed the US government by gaming the system. He created a black-market website which yes, some people used it to sell drugs. The government decided to make an example of him and hit him with 2 life sentences + 40. I don't know off the top of my head how many years he's served, maybe 10? In a world where nobody from the Epstein client list is in prison, that seems like more than enough to pay his debt to society.

I am 100% with you on communism...though these days I am trying to figure who exactly all the warriors are referring to? I raised my right hand and served for 5 years to absolutely "steamroller communism"...kevlar helmet and boots on the ground...and believe me, there were few rules. Today is seems like conservatives are fanboys of Putin and China? And the commies of which they speak are liberal Karen's and nancy-boys. LOL. Tough fight.

100% agree Mortenson. However, "You vote for common sense or stupidity" is exactly what the liberals say as well. They see conservatives as some of the most vile, uneducated people in the country. Therein lies the problem, IMHO. I do believe MOST people in the US are somewhere near the middle...good, hard working, decent people who happen to lean one way or the other. But we can't even have a conversation because of how much hatred divides both sides. I voted for Trump...therefore I am garbage in the eyes of anyone to the left. Too bad.

I read an article a while ago but I think there was a lot more than just illegal drugs being sold on silk road. child porn, murder for hire type stuff. It was a while ago and maybe that article was incorrect. Was it his doing or did it just morph out of his control? Don't know enough about it.

The January 6 pardons are not equal to others. First off, many were nonviolent and these guys were set up by the FBI & the FBI denied it .

They were not given fair trials, and were kept in a North Korean style Gulag with isolation, roughed up like the Rambo/First Blood. They were not fed well, and were forced to have Covid vaccines.

We don’t treat Americans like this ! They deserve to be out! Some of their stories are on social media and if you choose to read up on it, it’s heartbreaking!

In one case the lady was taking selfies in the Capitol after being waived in by police and has been in jail since! Just insanity !
