Congrats to all

Bowsnbucks

5 year old buck +
Congrats to all of you on the forum who've bagged your deer, ducks, turkeys, etc. I've been very light on the forum lately.

Our camp got two 8pts., a 6 pt., and a couple does in archery season and the early senior muzzy season. I was not one of the lucky ones!! I probably won't get out at all during our rifle season because my wife has foot surgery for bone spur on one foot, then the other foot for a spur on that one after the 1st foot heals up. I'll be her butler for a week to 10 days while she's off her feet, then crutches. She was supposed to have the surgery in Sept. but insurance co. red tape sh*t and legal ass-covering by hospital and Dr.'s caused repeated delays. She's my focus now - the deer can wait!!

Again …. congrats to all successful member hunters on here and their kids/relatives!! Good luck to all yet hunting. Be safe and have a great time!!

Check out a knee scooter, they are the best for foot surgery

Hope your wife feels better, BnB.

Thanks guys. She already has her "servant's bell" to ring when she wants something!!! I think I'm in trouble.

Blessings to you and your family Bows. Hope all goes well for you guys!!

Sorry to read about your wife Bows, hope all goes well and she recovers fully and quickly.

You have been missed brother!

Thanks gentlemen!! Once she has the bone spurs taken off, she has a period where she has to stay off her feet & keep the affected foot elevated. I'll be the nurse/butler for her. Not a bad gig, really. She's worth every effort!!

Thanks again for your well wishes.

BnB .... family first and then get back in the game ... it's those that support us that make us successful :emoji_wink:

I have to say - my wife has NEVER said one word complaining about my hunting ……….ever. We actually met at a party years ago where she was roasting several pieces of venison in the oven. I smelled it cooking, went to the kitchen to talk to her. Venison roast chance meeting. I asked her out for a date that same night. 38 years later ...… here we are!!! She loves wild game, so the sons and I hunting/fishing is a plus for her. She even bakes pies for the guys at the hunting camp, so she's a hero up there!!

It's gonna be a pleasure tending to her after her foot surgery.
