my parents bought 15 acres in 1995 . built a log cabin in 2001. like others on here said , it was the best thing they ever did. it has 2 bedrooms, indoor bathroom, kitchen.then added another 10 acres later on. it is nice to come in after a day of working or hunting to a cabin on your own land without having to worry about a motel room. our place is in potter co. pa, near the new York line. about a 4.5 hour drive from home in Lancaster co.
