another lime question

I had 18 tons of calcitic lime delivered to the property September 2022

I spread ~ 12-13 tons and probably have a 5 ton pile covered with a tarp

Will this 2 year old pile still be worthwhile to spread to effect a change in pH?

Can you actually shovel it? I have to imagine it's damp and won't spread easily.
