Hard for me to tell. I need to go back through my prior years. I think he might be only 4 if it's the one I'm thinking of.

I put a camera in a new location yesterday, and got a pic of a what might be a 10 pt that I've not seen before. Even on small acreage with a few cameras, bucks can avoid them. This one covers a wide area, so I had to crop it in a good bit.

I thought he might be dead, but the piebald buck showed back up. If I didn't have pics of him from last year that made me believe he was 2.5 then, I would have believed him to be 2.5 this year. He didn't put on much growth.

And, they love the mowed lanes. They follow them and feed in them just like @Native Hunter said.
