Yes.Talley mount on my abolt. Need to get it running before WI rifle season again. The mount was just fine and took abuse for years and years…..right until it didn’t. Might get another one and might not…..I’m calling Talley to see what they say, first.

I asked because they are the only one i've heard a bunch of stories about them failing. I have one rifle left with them on it just because i've been too lazy to swap em out and re-setup the scope but when there are rings that have about 0% chance of breaking i cant justify putting talleys on again. I bet the Abolt options are a little more limited though which is a bummer.

Just a follow up on a hunch I’ve had for years. This dude is a crook. I have more stories of him breaking the law but they are secondhand from friends and acquaintances so I’ll not share them. Asshat loser

I little epilogue to my hunt last September, regarding Mr Lemon….and not trying to turn my own thread into a bash!!!

Since I had discussed my hunt with him previously and went with a different outfitter, he made it a point to call and inquire what I harvested (young 5x5) and sent me a pic of the bull his client got that took the spot he had “reserved for me”.

It was a 330”+ beast.

I was nice to him in my return text and congratulated him and his hunter. But I wondered why he did that knowing I’d never draw another tag?
