    Black Boar ATV Implements

I ended up going with the Tarter atv disc. I pull it with a Honda Foreman 500 and it gets the job done but it pushes the machine about as far as I would like. Not so bad once the weather starts to cool off some but in southern MS, it’s not uncommon to be planting in 95 degree+ weather. The disc...

    Dry dry dry...

Southeastern zone here. As soon as I saw any decent chance of rain in the forecast, I put seed down. We had a little rain on Friday night but none of my plots had any sprouts on Saturday. With bow season starting on the 15th, I had to get seed in the ground. Hoping to get rain this week; looks...

What size machine did you use to pull the implements with? We’ve got bikes at the lease from 250 cc to 800 cc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Surfactant

As mentioned earlier, I just add a few drops of dish soap in with my gly mixture. Works well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Soil samples

I take my samples as soon as the season is over and start putting down lime as soon as my results are back but I don’t fertilize until time to plant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Clover germinating, but not WR.

Funny to see this thread come up, as I had the exact same thing happen to my plot (south MS). Planted a mix that has three different clovers, WR and a few other types of seeds. Last year when I planted it, the WR was first and fastest to germinate and grow. This year the clover is racing to the...

How long before I should worry?

^^^ This, and the comment above about dew on the ground germinating seeds. You’ll likely be ok. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Help with travel corridors

I don’t alter corridors in any way, other than what I stated previously. The trick is finding the right places to hunt a corridor (not too thick, good entry/ exit routes, terrain and weather favor you and not the deer, etc.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Help with travel corridors

I don’t plant travel corridors because I figure they’re either headed to or coming from a food source. The most I do is put in a watering hole and a mineral lick and I try to stay away as much as possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
