This is at my property a white oak amongst an asparagus field. You wouldnt think deer eat asparagus but the love it here. This oak is dropping 100s of acorns an this turned over dirt looking area is actually all deer tracks.
I have a white oak on my place and the amount of deer poop under it was only offset by the number of acorns on the ground. I picked up over 200 acorns and am trying to propagate the one I have. Got to love the draw of a prime white oak.
