Grew them for the first time this year. They are a thin walled Japanese pepper that is typically prepared by blistering them in a hot pan and then served with or on meat. Fun part is most are mild but some are HOT. They refer to it as russian roulette with peppers. Internet says 1 in 10 but 1 in 4 seems more accurate.Just joking. Looks delicious. What is a shishito pepper?
