What will kill broom straw????

Garrett2006

5 year old buck +
Looking for something that will kill this grass that I’m calling broom straw? Not sure if it’s actual name but it’s everywhere, y’all and very thick. I’m needing something that will kill it dead, but not hurt the pine trees & Fire isn’t an option at this point. Looking to make several foodplot on long lanes in the cutover. Anyone know what it actually is and what will kill it, but not hurt the pines. At places it’s over my head. Thanks pic attached

Looks like a nice native to me if i'm understanding what I'm looking at that is.

It’s great for bedding, when your paying for a lease and can’t see nothing out of the stands due to it, it sucks. All 439 acres is covered in it. Not looking to kill it all just lanes and plots.

I would think any grass specific herbicide would be just fine. Round up sprayed on a calm day shouldnt have any effect on plants you dont spray it on.

Grass selective herb or gly with a wick (keep it from getting airborne). Or... bring a mower/hedge trimmers/weed eater in and make your lanes.
Edit - I don't know what the grass is. No guarantee that those herbicides will work on it.
