Working on doing my first food plot as per a few of my previous posts. Can anyone guide me into doing a controlled burned of what I believe is some kind of switch grass ? I’m in Erie county NY if anyone can speak on the procedure I need to follow and what I have to do? (Also what I will need equipment wise…)
But I am looking to burn a small amount of switchgrass, when I walked it it’s about .7 acres. It’s just long and narrow. I am reading that a good spring burn and then 2 quarts of a glysophate should kill it so that I can then prep it for the tilling and what not.
