Trailcam pics

The beard on this hen is much bigger than the spindly hen beards that we occasionally see.
Yes - bigger than most hen beards I see, also

Everyone zoom in to the right side of the bobcat's mouth in post #726 and tell me if you see anything.

Here’s sort of a preamble shot to yours from last night, Native Hunter. A coyote and an unsuspecting rabbit. Of course, I tried coyote hunting yesterday for the first time and didn’t have any luck.

The chest on that buck looks extremely narrow to me, like he is sick or something. Any CWD in your area?

I agree that his antler bases are impressive, but they sure don't match his body appearance.

Perhaps it is just an odd angle and this picture is deceiving, it is hard to tell.

No CWD that we’ve ever known. His knee looks swollen too. My dad has seen one limping across the fields lately. Too dark to ever tell what exactly it was. I suspect it is this one. We had a limper around for several years a while back and he grew pretty impressive antlers every year.

Maybe the angle is funny. Sometimes a close picture on the Cuddeback can have that fisheye effect, but this buck looks funny. Good antler growth though. Curious to see how this turns out.
