Dang, did those beans get planted late or just long maturity?

ETA, Just noticed the velvet, assuming older pic.
The double crop beans here are grass green. Those guys better hope for no frost for 2 months yet. That would be a winning combination for a deer hunting farm - winter wheat followed by late maturing beans could spell some good targeted hunts in 2 consecutive seasons.

Saw a video earlier today where a combine was pulling grain heads off the top 12"+ of wheat stalks and exposing green soybeans underneath that were like 12"+ in their own right, pretty cool.
 
Necks are starting to get some size!

MN target buck was daylighting at the same place, same time almost to the minute last week. Hope to run into him this weekend.
 
Omg. That's like a 10 inch base.

Last year it was actually 3 separate antlers on his left side. They are so grown together this year, it is hard to tell exactly what is going on.
