Anything "north" of the planet we can see all year, because the axis points the same direction all year. The North Star, is a good example. You'll also notice that the stars in the night sky rotate around the North Star. These stars are not visible in places like Australia and Tierra del Fuego. The orientation of the stars to the planet is the actual proof that the Earth is a spheroid.

It's shooting a firearm here; other states have similar.
When I watch North Woods Law, I see hunters getting tickets for the same in Vermont/New Hampshire and Maine.

MN/WI both are 300 feet I believe. Must have written permission to discharge a firearm within 300' of a dwelling that you don't own.

I have always wondered if it is different if you own the land you are hunting on, but not the home.

If you own the land, and are not restricted by other governmental regulations, you can discharge a firearm anywhere on your property in the state of Minnesota.

Ever notice what jackasses the guys in the northeast are compared to the guys in Texas? Even when the Texas wardens give a ticket they are nice about it and usually the guy getting the fine thanks them. The guys in Maine and New Hapsha always seem to have a chip on their shoulders. Just my opinion.
