This one has the feel of an aloe vera plant and is growing in a moist Shady low spot thanks

Yarg, that plant is known as "Witch's Moneybags" (aka Frog's Stomach and Orpine) (Hylotelephium telephium).

It's my understanding that this plant is a Eurasian native but has become naturalized in the Catskills for quite some time.

One more thing - they say that plant is edible. If you taste it I would like to know what it tastes like. If you say "chicken" I may think you are fibbing..........
