I delete about 5 spammers a day based on IP addresses and emails. 95% of the time its Russian or Poland

I can get an add on to block any foreign IP. The problem is Russia has one of the worlds largest search engines and they share info with US search engines. So if I block them it can cause issues with Google.

Funny I've never seen a Chinese spammer here. Mostly Russians.

What I can't figure out is how it's worth it to sign up for an account. They have to respond to an email to finish signing up. So some Russian is actually taking the time to figure out the captcha protection then reply to an email all for a fraction of a cent if they get a link click. 95% of them never get to post before We shut them down.

I kinda feel bad for them. Our poor have no clue what poor is.
