I just use my pockets. I have a pair of cabelas gloves that are probably 25 years old. I think they've been washed a few times and the insulation doesn't seem to be there any longer. I'll probably upgrade sometime, knowing another 25 years will get me to the end.

I have a serious problem with organizing my stuff. My biggest problem was trying to keep my clean stuff in a tote and not contaminate it with gear I had worn. I bought a couple new totes this fall to try to cure that problem, but it's a major reason I never owned anything expensive. Whenever I can't find a left and a right, I buy a new pair of glommits. I'm constantly losing gloves and hats, so I could never justify buying anything nice. I like the Bass Pro/Cabela's generic brand. Keeps my fingers warm, and they are easy to flip back when I need to pull a trigger or send a text message. The cheapo elastic band is useless, so I sew on a little square of Velcro. I never pay full price, but they go on sale often enough:

Well, by the time I got around to ordering, they didn't have any more Fanatic jackets in left or right hand, so I dropped the whole idea and went for rain pants, gaiters, and a microdown jacket for layering. This stuff ought to be a big help in Scandinavia, where I often have to walk in soggy wet conditions and then need an extra layer when I sit down on stand.

I have black bibs and ghillie pants for covering them, plus a nice warm parka. That stuff is great for sitting in the cold, but it's difficult to walk in, and I can't imagine trying to sit in a saddle with it. I'll probably just keep my saddle hunting to the rut in Ohio this year and keep an eye out for Sitka stuff on sale during Black Week and after Christmas.

I also picket up a Sitka face mask and a Fanatic hoodie for Ohio. That hoodie looks great for the walk in to my stand, and it should be killer for layering. Most of my neck gaiters are dark, so the mask will help to hide that.

For what I ended up paying, a lot of the Sitka stuff is not that much more expensive than list price on ordinary hunting clothes. If I can get good deals, I might end up with a lot more of their clothing. It's been a slow morning at work, so I had a poke around the internet looking for deals. Cabelas and Sitka have some great prices on clearance items. Somme guns on sale, too. Cabelas has a Savage 110 Trail Hunter Lite in .30-06 with tungsten Cerakote and a threaded barrel. If they had it in .308 I would have bought one.
