I just want to put this out there so people would be aware of an organization that has been taking kids with life threatening or life altering conditions on the hunt of a lifetime. The name of the group is Shot for Hope. Kids have gone on fully guided deer and elk hunts with no strings attached. I am not officially affiliated with them, but our Rod, Gun and Archery Club works with them on an annual fundraiser. One of the kids from our club went youth gun hunting to Illinois and had a blast. If you know of a kid in west central Wisconsin that would be interested give them a call. Surprisingly they have had a tough time finding kids to go.
