got a really close look at this guy yesterday. No doubt a shooter. He had it all, good height, width and long beams. I think 155 is kind of a conservative estimate. I don't care to run cams much any more, it's a lot more fun in person wish I coulda got u guy some better pics

He was all by himself. About 10 does and fawns were in the food plot, and they were bedded in the more sanctuary area I have. He was bedded closer to my barn, where he shouldn't have been(according to my little plan), and he worked his way towards the food plot at about the time the does had their full.
Yet again, mature bucks avoid the does, and they don't play by any rules. historically this is a very safe place to scout, and it still is, but these bucks don't care about sanctuaries, they just want a safe place to live. Sanctuaries are unnecessary if u use some common sense.

Good looking buck!

I stopped by my neighbor and he said a has 5 bucks between 135-145, which he would consider shooters. Than he showed me a picture of another neighbors, I almost dropped my shorts. What he showed me had to be the biggest buck I've ever seen in our area. It had 3 drop tines and they were like clubs. 2 of the drop tines had carzy points coming off of them like turkey feet. The buck was well known last year and apparently was around Boone and Crockett. This year I am honestly thinking between 190-200".
The nice thing is he's been pictured both east and west of my place, but most of the sighting has been a mile west of me in some really awesome habitat we coyote hunt. I've only got one picture of him last year and that was mid July. Maybe I'm gonna get some trail cams, just for him. This was him last year
