I do travel to north Carolina a few times a year. Closest Menards is 2-3 hours off my path down there. More or less take 95.

pH is in the 5's, I add a healthy dose of peat moss, plenty of pelletized lime, and sometimes some sand from camp too. Got this brown loamy stuff I use in the grow pots to give the trees a taste of their permanent home.

MY mother in law babysits the local farmers kids. When he gets to subsoiling a field on my road, he's coming over to my place and tearin' it up.

It may just be out of season too. If you're having that much trouble, I'd also be asking the managers if they may get it in during garden season.

That's seems like a pretty good deal. Been trying to convince a dealer to make the lunch able lawn mix. They might have the ingredients.

Got my clover seed from outside pride today. Red clover 34% coating 90% germination. Dutch white 34% coating 97% germination. Got a 10% coupon in the box, code is RETURN.

Of course the ground had to be covered in snow right before my seed came in...... 4-5 inches light fluffy stuff here in NY.

Going to tractor supply next week and get a truckload of lime again. I'll ask about the gypsum. The one by work can have it there. $17 a bag for the apple tree planting spots, I've spent worse money elsewhere..... The AG co-op in the same town has my cheap fertilizer supply I get every other year for the trees.

Big curious how many pounds did you get and at what price from outdoor pride? Welter will mix anything for you and they're very nice to deal with. I actually had them price up 3 different mixes before settling on this. I truly thank sd for his knowledge on seeds. Curious on how many pounds and price at tractor supply of either pelletized or powder lime?
