Mine still hanging

Liberty looks like a good one far as midwest's chart. I got 3 galarina's at home and 1 galarina on the farmland parcel I rifle hunt nov/dec.

I can probably squeeze in 2 trees at the farmland I bow hunt. Debating the roostock for there. Got m111, g890 and p18 coming. Might just add a bareroot to the order for there. It's on the hedge of a spot that is a bit too wet to plant, so it just dry enough to grow fine.

I bought soe scion from turkey creek last spring. He said he had some later dropping dolgo. IF your midwest order is a bust, turkey creek might be offering it. They got big dog, yates, galarina, and rpimetime crab for late dropping trees.

Got to see how much the scion grew this year. Worked a branch on a toringo crabapple.

Filled a 5 gallon bucket about 3/4 of the way with Braeburns that have fallen off my Frankentree over the last two weeks. Still a bunch left.

Topped off the bucket with Franklin Ciders. Bunch of them left too.

How donyou like Braeburn for eating? It used to be a favorite of mine, but it's hard to find ripe ones these days.

Squirrels were coming in and taking some of mine off the trees last week. It was a little warmer if maybe that's why they didn't get them already was because they were frozen solid? 4 fat squirrels all showed up together. They would eat on the apples until they were small enough to carry off.

I used them in applesauce but they really don't have time to fully ripen here so didn't eat any straight off the tree. That's why there are so many left on the tree still.

That is angry orchards main ingredient for their regular hard cider. Not sure why they went with braeburn. Maybe they couldn't market it for fresh eating, unripe........

Which one is Franklin cider? Upper or lower pic?

The lower pic. Small and ugly, not edible. I haven't made any attempts at cider yet.
