I must have found the sweet spot for this Crabapple

This Dolgo was set three years ago. I caged it and walked away and haven't touched it since. Another one close by looked almost as good except that something has eaten a lot of the leaves off of it.

You planted it three years ago and you've got that much fruit already? Is it a grafted tree or a seedling? Either way, fantastic!

I think the dolgo I have in my front yard is also getting eaten heavily by something. I need to grab some Sevin when I'm out next and dust them all.

That's a fantastic 3rd leaf producer! Just think what would happen if you opened it up. :)

Thanks Guys. It's a grafted tree. I guess the ground at this spot just suits the trees.
