Habitat out loud

Looks like it. We have yellow ones in Ontario. I think it's certainly a sign of a healthy ecosystem if you have wild orchids.

My new plot is up and going. I got done digging it Saturday night and seeded it Sunday night. I got an inch of rain Monday afternoon. All bets were on rain friday night, so I scampered there as fast as I could and got my lime and gypsum down before the rain.

Got a little puddle in the new water hole.

I kept a pile of topsoil from the water hole for future use. I planted that full of pumpkins and squash yesterday.

Everything is up and hydrated. The lime and gypsum rained in. Should go nicely from here.
