I just took a 3-4 acre hay field out of hay and planted 3/0 Norway seedlings at 12 x 12 spacing. My idea is, can I plant switch grass between the rows? What would it take to do this? From what I have read, it should take a few years for the switchgrass to come on strong. Will it choke out the Norway's? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
