The Pledge (not Jack Nicholson's biggest hit, but one I enjoyed most)

The Ghost and The Darkness

Once Upon a Time in the West

I would put Once Upon a Time in the West in my top five favorite western list.

Follow-up note on The Ghost and The Darkness for those who haven't seen it... it's loosely based on Lieutenant-Colonel John Henry Patterson's semi-biography "The Man-eaters of Tsavo" with some scenes closely matching descriptions of events by Patterson. Photo below is of Patterson posing with one of the two Tsavo lions.

I have seen both of those mounted on display at the Field Museum in Chicago.

Don't think I saw Gangs of New York mentioned. Dang near a perfect movie. Just Cameron Diaz holding it back.

My wife picked a movie last night that I enjoyed more than I thought I would, " Where the crawdads sings". Worth watching in my opinion

Just rewatched Hell On Wheels. There are parts of that I really enjoy, the main character is pretty bad ass.
