My trees are just starting to green up, only a few at about 1/2 green. This time of year and prior, I always think I don’t have enough laterals on my trees. On M-7 or EMLA-7 I space laterals about 18 inches apart vertically (one layer to the next). On M-111 and B-118, I space them about 24-30 inches apart depending on where I can get a lateral as they develop. Limb angles are always good because I am a training fool, and I always have 3-4 laterals around the central leader in each row of laterals. On the bottom row, sometimes I have 5.

I did not take any pics, but will try later in the week. Wondering what yours look like.
