Cwd in Georgia

First confirmed case. Extreme South Georgia. Where’s the nearest deer farm…
Time to shut down the baiting

Gee newsflash - I guess it's everywhere. In my state, due to cwd, my kids can't put out a bird feeder and do some bird watching, but if you're an illegal Venezuelan alien criminal you're good to go. Enjoying a nice bowl of sloppy cwd joe for supper.

That case is a long way from the next closest confirmed case. Most likely started either from game farm or hunters transported deer.

AR did not ban baiting during season in cwd areas

Sounds like an automatic + $2000/ac increase in land values.

hopefully DNR can lay off the trigger men.

It was just a matter of time and I am surprised it took this long. That is down in Valdosta just off 75 heading into FL. Not sure how close the nearest farm is to that location. There is a guy not too far from my place in central GA (+/-15 miles) that has high fenced property. He does not farm/sell deer that I know of. Might need to check into that a little more.

I see they also intend to allow baiting to continue
