the different versions in your network arent the issue, but a fix is coming shortly , so if you can hold off a couple days i should be able to send a new update that addresses the issues you experienced, as soon as i have it, ill post it on here and ill send it to anyone who needs it. They have been working on this for a couple weeks nonstop and are very close to releasing an update that should fix it. The issue is showing up on a small percentage of users and didnt surface in beta testing until we had thousands of users load it , after which some experienced the build up in ques and delayed images.@john volkman I have been struggling with the new Gen 3 firmware. I have two active networks, the first, has a G home camera on 9.0.0 and 15 L cameras on 3.0.0 forward and CL version 3.0.7. This system works fine. I did have several cameras that started having issues with their memory cards, staying full and not working, but they have been replaced and all is good now. I know there is a new firmware version 9.1.0 and 3.1.0, but I am very hesitant to upload it given my issues with the second network.
The second network was on a K home originally, with 7 L camera remotes. When I moved to Gen 3, I had several issues, remotes would not connect, memory cards failed. So then I brought in an L home. Originally, this was good L home connected to all the cameras, pictures we’re sending… Then firmware updates started coming through the cell in the L home. Several of the cameras were linked through other remotes and then I started getting cameras on all different firmware and Cuddelink versions and pictures stopped sending from the older versions on the remotes (but I could still see them listed in the report). Then, in the last week, the L home updated a new version again, and then all the remote cameras lost connection with the Home.
So, yesterday, I updated the original K home with the 9.1.0 firmware and brought it back out to replace the L home. Right off the bat, several cameras connected, I received a few pictures from the remotes that were in the queue, I figured all would be good, went home. I received a report from the home with 2/3 of the remotes listed and a bunch of pictures in the queue, but no pictures are sending. The remotes that are connected are on a mix of firmware 3.1.13 & 3.0. and CL version 3.0.13 and 3.0.7. The Home is reporting firmware 9.1.0 and Cl version 3.0.8/5.5.15. I suspect the issue its all the different versions of FW and CL. There were a couple of other cameras that I added yesterday, including a G remote and another L remote both showed good Link level when they were set up, but they are not showing up in the report. My guess is they linked through another remote that is having issues talking to the home.
What do I do? This is getting very frustrating!!!
