I have a handful of J series cams. I'm assuming there is, but can anyone tell me how to set them up as a "plot watcher" style cam?

prime time mode is what you want - keep in mind this will turn off the PIR or sensing feature for now but we are working on changing that.

I have a G-1385 I just put up last year as a repeater that has lost the link menu also. Its the only G camera I have so I thought I was just doing something wrong. Took it down, brought it home and no menu for setting up home or repeater, channel and location. Sounds like I need to send it in I just tried updating to 8.3 previously had 8.1

reload firmware and if it doesnt come back up then it needs to go in.

if they are factory they arent the 9004, 9004 is sold as an accessory. The factory lens is wide angle and the 9004 is centered and more sensitive.

I swapped all of mine. Distance detection increased but so did false images on sunny and windy days. But nothing out of control like my browning cams, which suck.

Do you still get good detection from the sides or is it more “centered”?

its not really an error -cell tx signifies that the cell unit is transmitting via cell network, if its stuck on Cell tx (for over 10 minutes) then the cell unit timed out trying to send as a result of lack of cell service.

Thank you, I am now getting a fail 210 error on the cell test

When I run a cell ID test it shows the m numbers but not the c numbers. The camera was running great for a month, then stopped last week. I drove out today only to see the cell tx on the screen. The cell test keeps giving me the fail 210 and the I’d test isn’t showing the c numbers.

if you ran the cell id test and the numbers arent there its a bad sim card and it needs to go back to cuddeback for repair or replacement. You can call CS and they should give you an ra if they end up replacing it they should be able to transfer your plan to the replacement cell unit.

I’m gonna try some out this year. I just replaced some of my cameras with the wide ones but I’m gonna try the centered on a few i believe.

So I've been happily monitoring my systems last 10,000 pics on camp.cuddeback.com for quite some time. When all of a sudden there are only 2,500 or so pics available. Its counting up again and has already grown to 2,900 pics, but has anyone else lost images that should still be available on camp.?

i believe it only saves 2500 on the free plan , if you want more you need to subscribe to it.

I am subscribed to the 10,000 plan. Interestingly, after purchasing that plan, my photo bank kept growing to 20k, 30k, 40k, 50k, and I finally called Cuddy when it got to 60k and told them I was getting much more storage than I had purchased. They reset things about 5 months ago and it has hovered right around 10,000 since. Then a few days ago it was just 2,500, though it is growing again and right now is at 2918. I expect it will grow back up to 10k again, but have no good reason for that expectation.

I called support this morning and they do not know what happened and do not seem interested at all in finding out what happened. They said any pics not there right now are just gone. WHY? I'm fairly aggrevated that I've lost access to 7,500 pics! I've followed up with an email to support, and thought I would post here to see if anyone else had an issue or knows of a solution.

We don't know why, but tough luck, is not good customer service!

ill dig into it and see what i can find out and follow up , if you havent cleared your sd cards remotely, all the images will still be on those in the camera that took them and in hi res. I would suggest saving important ones to your personal device as a back up or not deleting your sd cards so you have access to them. , i would not rely on one type of storage of any kind if they are very important to you.
