Native Forest Nursery

TonySoprano

5 year old buck +
Has Anybody on here ever bought trees from Nativ Forest Nursery in Georgia ?. The trees Seems resonably priced at $30.00 for a 4' to 6 ' tree.
Some of the trees sound like what The Wildlife Group use to sell.

Most of the apples look widely available. The pears are more unique, by I'd be concerned how they do and when they drop if you're in the north. (Me)

I did a little more digging , this is the place where Alan Deese from The now defunt Wildlife group in Alabama went.
I saw a post that said he "brought some of the trees with him" . I went back to take a screen shot but can't find it now.
I'll keep looking. The Wildlife groups pears have done well here (zone 7) ,but only been in the ground 2 years so far though.

Gallaway Pear is the latest dropping pear I grow, and it drops right through our gun season.
Looks like it's now being sold at Native Forest as "Old Faithful " (Gallaway)- (Oct/Dec)

I have Gilmer Christmas and Wildlife pears from TWG . I think they have only been planted for two years , so no fruit yet.
IF the Wildlife pear pans out I may order some more from Native Forest , now being sold as Hardy Deer pear.
