I wasn't referring to you. Go look at the some of the comment sections, MN Star Tribune is one the worst. They (liberals) cheer anything that would make Trump look bad. It is really nuts. Some post that they hope he gets the virus, and they call it the "Trump virus".

Ok good. It’s not that nuts. Some on the right wanted Obama’s head on a lot of things.... People and keyboards. I think most Americans even most liberals don’t want Trump dead as most Republicans didn’t want to harm Obama either. It’s just the day and age of everyone being behind a keyboard.

I know I don’t agree with a lot of you all politically. I hope you all at least have felt I treated you all with respect. At this point I don’t want to argue with any of you over politics. I just wanted to share medical news. Everyone can form their own opinions. I’m honestly hoping that we find a drug that we take that kills this thing. At this point I’m worried without something like that, we’ll not get back to normal until a vaccine is available possibly in the late fall. If everything aligns correctly. Fingers crossed.

You wouldn't want to anyway. A strong immune system that is capable of fighting things off is best. In todays world we are to caught up in playing God and unwilling to deal with the hand we are dealt.

I had gotten lymes several years ago, and I asked that same question, they said there wasnt a demand for it, to make it affordable, or profitable to make. To this day I get bad headaches, body aches, and my ears ring.

The French study I cited was 1k patients with 8 deaths. I hope everyone on the left refuses to take it. That would lighten up the demand for those who want to give it a shot. The side effects are BS. Normal doses have no side effect, that is documented everywhere. I will wait for our doctors to declare it helpful or not. Hopefully we will have the first reports out of NY today.

Wife had it when she was teenager. She had permanent double vision in one eye when she looks in a certain direction. Wouldn’t wish that illness on anyone. Didn’t Lymes come from a lab as well?

Yup, just make sure what ever else they find if Trump supports it stay away. When he supports the vaccine they find you better stay away from that too.

This puke has been all over the news lately. I think he is a dirty snake. He is in love/bed with the WHO, and after seeing this debacle unfold and him prostituting himself all over the news I wretch at the sight of him. Some of the theories on the interwebs are amazing. What fantastic timing this guy has, and all of a sudden he is one of the leading authorities on worldwide pandemics.
Amen chummer, this med is used by many people already. My mom has been taking it for years for her arthritis, 200 mg twice a day. She experiences no side effects. She got her 90 day refill a couple weeks ago thank goodness as I bet it'd be tough to get it now.
Trump haters just have to go against anything Trump backs or supports.

I wasn’t trying to offend you, I’m sorry if it came across that way. I’m serious though, I hope the NY study turns out better. I think they also were seeing if it could help the infection rate. That’s something different. There is a lot of positive anecdotal evidence we’ve all heard about on the news with the drug. I just posted two articles from a medical study because it was made available. As far as the side effects, maybe it is overblown. I have no idea. Maybe they were messing with dosage vs what it is for other things this drug treats.
I’m not a huge trump fan. I know you know that. Which where I think some of your abrasive comments are coming from towards me perhaps? But I will say this, I know he’ll do what he can when the vaccine comes out to get to the general public faster than normal. We’ll all be grateful for that and Yes I plan to get it because it’s the responsible thing to do.

You can’t offend me. It comes across like most liberals. Anything to make Trump look bad. No doubt the media and many on the left would trade as many lives as it took to get rid of trump. 3 years of Russia and an impeachment over a phone call have shown their hand.

I read that the chloroquine is most effective in the treatment when used early-on with Covid-19 but less so later (too late if already intubated) and that the FDA was fighting that (only use as a last chance) because they hadn’t “approved” it for that use. BS! It has been in use for decades with virtually no bad effects (very low percentage). All they are arguing about is efficacy. More BS. There is a lot of anecdotal cases to show it is miraculously effective when used early. What we have is a bureaucracy that is all hung up by process and protecting their rice bowl. Seems like a case of subverting the good in pursuit of the perfect (in the middle of a $hitstorm). Besides, I’ve never trusted the French on anything after the made us fly around their country to bomb terrorists in Libya (and made a nuclear plant for Iraq, forcing the Israelis to bomb it).
