I hear there will be some Minnesotans hanging out at the capitol this Friday as well, to express their joy of MN governors over reach.
 
Please tell me you guys saw the NJ Governor on Tucker's show (Fox). While discussing the drastic shut downs in the state of NJ...

Tucker: Under what authority did you make the decision to override the Bill of Rights.

NJ Governor: "Tucker, that's above my pay-grade, I wasn't thinking about the Bill of Rights when I made that decision.

Houston, we have a problem. I almost pissed myself when he said that, I'm assuming he'll regret those words after the interview but maybe that's assigning too much credit.

Oh I hope so. I really hope so. I have been complaining a out the Chinese for years, and to see the world finally take notice would be sublime vindication.
 
The cure is going to be way worse than the sickness. bet on it.
 
Looks like the malaria drug doesn’t help cure Coronavirus. Might help with symptoms due to its anti inflammatory properties. Rough news. Seems like the side effects are crappy too. No pun intended. Diarrhea, Heart issues. Maybe other studies will show more promise. Onto the next drug. Hopefully we find a breakthrough for the fall.

Did you read the article? First off it was a study done in February in China. There are no side effects with this drug in normal doses. That has been stated by every doctor that has prescribed it over the last 40 years. Heart issues were out of Brazil and were said to be on high doses. 10% of people get diarrhea, that is hardly a side effect, I have that most days now. This drug is a therapeutic, it was never discussed as a cure. It is to alleviate symptoms and keep you off a ventilator, which usually means death. This article changes nothing. Wait for the study’s by our doctors not China. I believe NY is releasing its first report on the drug today. The last study out of France showed 8 deaths out of 1k for patients that took it. Well below the normal average. There are way to many people walking around that say this drug saved their life to say rough news, on to the next drug. It is another tool in the belt until there is a vaccine.

More than likely anybody with knowledge has been silenced in one way or another. The WHO is like many of these World organizations, corrupt. The guy that runs it doesn’t have the best reputation. A bat yes, but some random person eating some random bat...not a chance in hell.
 
Every time there's an outbreak, there's rumors that it started in a lab. As somebody who is a University researcher (not a virologist - I'm in molecular genetics), I tend to think that the evidence points toward a natural evolution, but I acknowledge that transmission could have occurred through faulty safety measures in a lab. I emphasize that this is a possibility, but much like throwing darts and randomly hitting a bullseye, it's only one of several, and not the most likely. We can never know for certain. But there will nevertheless be folks who presume that they know the truth, regardless of the facts. My hat is off to their uncanny insights. Now if only they could do the same with the stock market lol. Be safe.

So you are on record for the random person, random bat theory. Sounds like a pretty random bullseye. I do just fine in the stock market so I will stick with it is out of a lab.

A local has been on hydroxychloroquine for 43 years. There isn't any side effects. The only side effect is now they cant get it because the government bought up the entire supply.#wethepeople
 
Wait wait wait... are we saying there's some confusion and misinformation out there? No way that happens. Not in America. Not with the media.

Read an article some days ago (can’t remember where, will try to find it and provide a link) that talked about the infectious virus research ongoing for a long time out of a lab in Wuhan. Discussed workers going many hundreds of miles away to collect bats in caves (while bat urine and guano fell on them), without protective gear. It also mentioned that these bats were aggressive during capture and would injure themselves and spray blood.

Does not seem unreasonable that someone working out of this lab could have been infected and went out for lunch (perhaps to the wet market, located 200 yards away) and passed the virus on that way. Not necessarily nefarious, just incompetent. Unless Chinese come clean we will not know but seem very plausible to me.

I just can't figure out why Americans would cheer when a treatment doesn't work? I see it all over social media, they are posting that the hydroxy....doesnt work? Based on one study, there are many that said it HAS worked. Quit cheering for the virus--anti-Trumpers.

You also see this..."sorry no vaccine for at least 2 years"....and HOW do you know that?

yep, And I think it was a French study that touted the drug in the first place so they cancel each other The one with 19 people out of China. Well everybody can discount that one. As you say even if it helps a few then why not. It’s an antiviral not a cure. There are much larger trials going on in the US now but if you’re dying what do you have to lose. Also , all these side effects people against this are throwing out there are possibilities with long term use. Not a short shot of it. There’s millions of doses in the system now so somebody’s got to be using the stuff.
