I’ve done a little plot boost with micronutrients but never true foliarSince we're on the topic, what do you guys use to foliar fertilize clover? How much and how often?
PlotBoost looks like just 1-0-0 with some micronutrients. Antler King's clover fuel is 0-0-28. I'm probably looking for something with P and K.I’ve done a little plot boost with micronutrients but never true foliar
Let us know how it goes. Always been interested in foliar sprays.PlotBoost looks like just 1-0-0 with some micronutrients. Antler King's clover fuel is 0-0-28. I'm probably looking for something with P and K.
SameMan the droughts have been bad here too. I didn’t get to plant fall crops till first of November because it didn’t rain till then. They are doing well now but looked awful all during deer season.
Agree. There is no free lunch. This stuff?

It looks like it's more for correcting magnesium deficiency vs low pH.
The math just doesn't work out on products that say you only need a fraction of the product vs lime. It's a similar concept to this.

Beware of Liquid Calcium Products
Do the math and consider the chemistry before investing in a liquid calcium product for your soil.extension.psu.edu
No one is faulting your choice. Your previous post rings more of marketing buzz than specificity. It looks like a solid product for mag deficiency but not ideal for raising pH sufficiently. There are a lot of beginners out there that are buying products they don't fully understand. We're just trying to help make sure folks understand what they need vs what they're buying. At one point, I was in that place too. Communities like this help educate us all.It is only sold in 1 ton super sacks. We will see how it does but the product is REALLY taking off
Definitely didn't mean it that way. I am hoping to use this product this year, and revisit the soil test and lime application again in 6 months. Hoping then I can find bulk ag lime available then. What’s price of that product? You can get a pallet of simple pellet lime that will do the same. I would compare the prices.Definitely didn't mean it that way. All combined about 7 acres, but it is split up and multiple soil samples were pulled for that reason. It looks like a weak dolomitic Pell lime. That’s the most powerful pH raiser pound for pound.
Good news is, you have a high buffer pH. Probably only gonna take a half ton per acre to get in the strike zone. Don’t put on any more than you need though. It’s gonna make your calcium / magnesium ratio even more out of whack. I don’t think you’re in any trouble, just don’t go buck wild.
How many acres are you dealing with here?
