If I was retired and had a couple guys who wanted to do this I would pull a 5th wheel down and hunt for a month or so.
When I retire, this is on my list.
It's not about money it's about time. To much work and to many commitments. I would love to spend a month + hunting big bucks. If you can't afford it now with a buddy or two, you won't be able to do it when you retire.
When you get older ... you are cheaper, stingier, and less apt to see the opportunity ... carpe diem ... !

If there's one thing I've learned the last 3.5 years or so...its that sometimes you don't get to retire and enjoy the fruits of all that hard work. Nobody lays on their death bed and says "man, I wish I would have worked more and made more money".
If not a month...take 10 days. If not 10 days, take a week. If not a week, take a long weekend. Just don't assume all those things you're "gonna do when you retire" are going to come to fruition ;)
So it's a one time sub lease? It just goes to show you that the demand for high dollar hunts and property is shrinking. Those outfitters in bc push through hunters like crazy, so this guy must really be loosing his a$$.It is an Outfitter that has this for lease, for this year only. He has more land than hunters and is trying to get some of his money back.
Only you can answer that
All I'm saying is that many people (myself included) say "I really want to do (fill in the blank), but don't have the time. I'll do it when I retire". My point is...find the time to do those things you really want to do...because you may not get to retire (obviously not an issue for those who have already reached retirement age or who don't have things on their "bucket list" to still do)
