Does anyone have any thoughts on the best performing white clover varieties? I know VNS Ladino is the go-to common recommendation, but I know there are newer varieties as well. At one point I planted 25lbs of Durana because I got it at cost from a Pennington rep I knew. (He retired
) Some of the local seed dealers off White Dutch, Alice, Kakariki, Renovation and Rivendel. Imperial has their own line. Greencover offers Aberlasting Kura. There are a ton. Are any worth the extra costs?
I know location matters. This will be planted in zone 6, in North Central PA. Some of the plots can get a little damp in the winter/spring and a little dry in some summers.
