I've read about putting baggies or nylon footies on apples to protect them from insect damage and even tried it a couple of years ago with mixed results. I used single
ziplock baggies on my first attempt but this year I found some double ziplock baggies and bagged some apples on my trellis.
The Plum Curculio (I think) are already laying their eggs in the apples.
Here's a bagged apple.
