Bagging Apples ???

I've read about putting baggies or nylon footies on apples to protect them from insect damage and even tried it a couple of years ago with mixed results. I used single

ziplock baggies on my first attempt but this year I found some double ziplock baggies and bagged some apples on my trellis.
The Plum Curculio (I think) are already laying their eggs in the apples.

That is one pampered apple. I suspect it will work, but keep us posted.
 
I'm gonna do that this year on my chestnut crab and gala if they throw some fruit, both have the potential to give me my first apples ever, heres hoping...
