Damn sexy right there.

@greyphase that Dolgo is impressive! Also surprised you are eating Chestnut Crabs already, my tree has a handful this year but still green here.

Hey BV - over here in Ortonville, my ChestnutCrabs are just starting to blush...just starting..yes still green but with Russett that may be Captan burn. Do yours CC's have russett? Do you spray them with Captan? The earlys...Pristing, WilliamsPride and Zestar just starting to brown up their seeds. They're pretty good green and I've fighting the birds and squirrels for them.

Yeah i'll be fending the squirrels soon off of my CC's & Galas (don't have much else producing yet). I have not noticed and russeting on my Chestnut Crabs, yes I do use Captan with imidan generally.

Man those look really nice @Jhoss, incredibly clean! Does Pristine normally get that little blush?

Zestar! Just the way I like ‘em. The seed have a small white dot yet to turn dark, so just getting ripe, just a day or three behind Pristine.DF174C5F-AACD-4574-99A5-002BDC32D121.jpeg

@bv. Yes. I picked these very selectively as there are still a lot of green ones left...these are ripe and the longer you leave them the “blushier” they become. They turn pale yellow as the seeds turn dark and this happens quick!

Thanks, good for my notes for when my Pristine starts to produce.

Dang jhoss, very nice!

Jhoss- They look so good they look fake !! ( Pristines ).

Beautiful apples!

The beauty only equaled by the taste!

Ok, so not full on porn here, more like when you fall asleep while watching a late night action movie on Cinemax, and then wake up a couple hours later and that softcore porn is on.......

This is a single apple on a Honeycrisp tree. Tree has had to fight thru a nasty dry spell, but this apple is looking good so far, without any fungicide or insecticide.
