I could be wrong , but it looks to me like Whitetail Crabs tree prices will be increasing for 2026. The website is locked down , you can't click on the trees sizes to see the prices anymore. However you can still see the "from" price. I thought all the trees were priced "from" $16.95 last year (The small size trees I bought were anyway ) . There are still some trees "from" $16.95 at the moment.
However the "from" prices For Northern Spy is $24.95 Chestnut Crab $24.95 , Seckel Pear $24.95 , Goldrush $28.95 ,Harrows Pear $36.95 , Beurre D'Anjou Pear $36.95 , Shenandoah pear $36.95 . It's kind of odd there are several different "from prices". They are still reasonably priced....considering most other places starting price is $37 to $40 . I guess we will find out for sure whats going on in Sept when they usually go on sale.

The fed continues to print money so our dollars become worth less and less. I can’t blame them for adjusting prices upward, the cost of everything continues to rise. #endthefed

Yeah I'm just surprised he held out so long. Unless selling trees cheaper then everyone else translated into more sales for him.

Want sticker shock, try car shopping....... Looking for a winter beater so the mustang can sleep in the garage..... $6,000 dont get you squat...... MY rural commute literally destroys car. Dirt with rocks in it instead of salt n sand. Literally snad blasts cars.

I've shopped around for tree places the past few years. Turkey Creek and mehrabyan nurseries are good values.

Terry from whitetail probably has the cheapest trees on anty rootstock. You have to ask him early, and he will only have 1/2 to a /3 of the varieties. M111 is an option form him too. Otherwise, its the love / hate relationship with B118 from whitetail crabs. Put a kerr on B118 at camp this past weekend to try out in the sandy soil it was meant to grow in in russia....

I bought my daily driver / beater new in Nov 2007 , a 2008 a 2 door Chevy Cobalt,, and keep my Impala, Z28 and Silverado in the garage. I don't even like any new cars. Chevy doesn't even make a 2 door car anymore besides the Corvette , and I hear their new trucks are junk , problems with the motors and transmissions. I don't need a screen , a fob or pushbutton start it's all a bunch of BS.

My Cobalt sits outside and the paint is getting messed up from the Sun & elements , but I don't have to worry about salt or rust in Virginia . It has 113,800 miles . Unless it starts becoming unreliable or costing big money to fix I want to keep it to at least 150,000 miles then see if I can get 200,000 miles. This is the longest I've had the same vehicle for a daily driver, it'll be 18 years in Nov !.

Well .... bummer. I was planning to place a huge order with them for next year. I will have to find alternatives if the prices go up substantially. Maybe back to bench grafting and ordering shrubs from conservation districts.

I'm not sure what's going on , so far it looks like just a handfull of trees prices went up, and the others are still the same price as last year. Typically they go on sale in Sept , so we shall find out soon.

Yeah, I'll be the first out of the gate when the site allows orders again, provided the prices are still good. Fingers crossed.

No orders for me in 2026. Got my last tree to plant in a pot still. Violi's on anty from SLN. Roots were too small to plant up there in the spring.

Very happy with 30-06's growth and cold tolerance so far. See what comes out of the branches in a few years.

Had a saturn ion with the 2.1 or maybe was 2.2. Was a 2006. Got rid of it at 200k miles. Transmission speed signal was failing. Cleaned a few chips out of it, ran good for a month. Still of the road. Had to repair muffler, replace a wheel bearing, and clean out the evap purge valve.
