Any GunSmiths on Here?

But most likely he's just smarter than you!

He is still working for a living.......I get to hunt for 4 months a year.

Yah.....he's smarter!

Nice attempted deflection from the topic! It's classic....you literally have no experience, observations, or fact set to even dispute the argument against you...so you defer to insults that have nothing to do with the topic!

Listen to you guys, Turn a trigger question, into a your gun is better than my gun thread! Go Beat off!

Close the thread John!

I rest my case.

Well that was fun :). Now that we all understand the m&p is a better firearm we can move on ;). Glock paved the way for the striker fired pistol but IMO other companies have finally picked up their game and are making better striker fired pistols than glock. But I also think California is going to one day fall into the ocean so what do I know.

MBC, u going to leave that trigger as is or tune it down?

He must be dumb, he's on the Mill's shooting team and gets paid to have fun.

Oh, I have deep love for a python. Someday I might be able to afford one. :D

Another friend is a Sgt in Baxter and a competitive shooter - he'd kick my ass run-n-gun'n. His competition pistol is a 2011 (which is what I daily carry btw). If glock was so fantabulous, why wouldn't he shoot it for 3 gun? I'm pretty sure he carries one on duty but I never bothered to look.

2011 what????
Seems Like most of those guys shoot 1911's

I qualified for my carry permit renewal on a glock 17 today just to see if anything had changed in the last 20 years (the instructor's pistol). Nope, they still suck. I honestly can't figure out why anyone would buy that POS unless they knew nothing about other (better) options.

Honey moon's long gone around here ain't it boys bahahaha

I was just thinking the same thing Jordan. I just wasted 15 minutes of my life over on the QDMA site reading a thread in which a bunch of guys bickered like old ladies about "meat or horns?" Then I sought refuge here and ended up wasting 5 more minutes reading this one.

All in good fun I hope! :)

I don't know jack about Glock vs. M&P or competitive shooting or reloading. I have 3 pistols….a Beretta M9 (92F really) because that's what I carried in Desert Storm. I have a Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 mag. that I named Big Ugly…because when it goes off it's big, and ugly. Also had a buddy in the military from a town in WV called Big Ugly….and I thought that was the funniest thing ever. And I have an Ithaca 1911A1 that my gramp carried in WWII. And when I'm at the range I shoot them all 'till they smoke!

Yep to many Alpha males I think! lol
I watched my buddy shoot a steel 12'' by 12'' plate at 100yards with a 92F! Those are fun guns to shoot and accurate to say the least!

The M9 is one that I would like to get my hands on some day. Have done some "plinking" on steel with one before....that fixed barrel sure is accurate!

The gun has some weight to it making the recoil very light and fun as heck to shoot ehhh Phil!? Shooting steel is fun and we do it often but always wear safty glasses and are sure to shoot it squarely. My buddy took a 45acp jacket to the teeth one day because one of our shooters shot at an angle:oops: Blew out 2 of his front teeth!!!!!!!! He described it as having a mouth full of sand instantly! I will see if I still have the pic in my phone! He is lucky as hell it didn't hit him in the jugular!

That sounds pretty insane! Jugular, carotid, the temple or eye....it could have gotten ugly pretty damn fast!

Shooting steel requires lots of fore-thought....and the right steel and bullets. Personally, at my range I won't let my family shoot at my steel targets without at least a 20 yard distance. Then too we use pistol rounds and 22 ammo only at such ranges.

Watch you tube videos by Hickock 45. He is a great shot and loves his Glocks! I only wish I could shoot as good as he does. Lots of entertainment and knowledge on his site.
