AA batteries

That's a good deal at <$0.95 each. Best I can find online is ~$1.22 each.

I go through about 200 of them a year keeping my cams running year round (or nearly so).

Yeah for that price, I would stock up.

Definitely a great deal, like most of you I spend a fortune on them. Running 10+ cameras all year is not cheap. I usually buy the 12 packs from Amazon. For some reason that's the cheapest package size.

I have found Walgreens to be pretty cheap with them as well. I don’t remember the exact price, but under a buck each for a 12 pack.

I also buy them at Sams. Can’t fibd anywhere else online or brick and mortar that’s as cheap as Sams. Costco here doesn’t even sell them.

Back in there yesterday and they were back up to normal price of $20 for 18.

I wont use energizer .... short life & terrible in the cold. I can buy Duracell 24 pack at local Walmart for $16. They last 203 months and I have never have winter temp issues.

Your batteries last almost 17 years? That's really good I'd stick with them too. :emoji_slight_smile:

Exide batteries from Rural King. 20 for $4.99.

Tractor supply batteries outperform them all........for 20 minutes.......

Spypoint Solar is a nice option for those not interested in changing batteries all the time.

Great day pics, some night are blurry. Excellent trigger.

I had a Spypoint Solar Link and it was sweet for 2 weeks...then would hold a charge and stoped taking night pictures all together. Solar never worked for me but I’m guessing it wasn’t because there was a lack of full sunlight. I’m going to try something that’s solar again next year with a cell can on my field edges that get full sun.

I am trying the AC delco which were around 16.00 per 100 on amazon

I have been looking at these as well. The reviews are amazing from other people. The price is right too

AC delco failed the test,1/3 of time duracell

I've used duracells a good bit in the past. They were my go to for a long time and worked relatively well in game cameras checked regularly / not allowed to stay in the battery compartment too long, but God help you if you leave them in a kid's toy (strored game cam, etc) and forget about them. They seem almost guaranteed to leak with much age, whereas the energizers don't seem quite so problematic.

My AA Lithium Energizers all performed excellently this year. Nice when a product comes along that actually surprises you for the better.
