TNM Sorghum Sudangrass?

I brush hogged my screen from last season and am curious if I can just broadcast (when soil temp is right) this year's screen seed into the thatch or would I be better off disking it up and then broadcasting onto a prepared soil bed? Thanks.

I've done it and not had enough thatch to cover the seed and had an ok plot/screen but I get a better plot/screen when I lightly disc and cultipack.

I broadcast with a solo spreader and spray gly with backpack sprayer immediately after spreading

Was happy with the resulting screen

I'm gonna ask a seperate question but I have an area that I want to plant Sudangrass this year, and then convert to switchgrass next spring with frost seeding. Any reason to think this this will be an issue? I'm not sure if the sudangrass will re-seed itself? I'm hoping if I frost seed the switch and don't disc in the sudangrass it won't re-seed (at least heavy enough to be an issue).
