Wisconsin Anterless Tag Sales (so far)

I'm just viewing the anterless tags and to me it looks like the sales are vey slow. Very few units have sold out and many have only sold a very small percentage of the available tags.

What do you think is going on here?

1. Hunters are trying to build the herd and not shoot very many does
2. They have not got around to it yet.
3. They don't know they are even on sale and may not understand the new system
4. Anterless tag sales are not slow and BJE is off his rocker.

Yeah I think the free farmland permits they give with the license sales is a good point.

#6 They already have one or two free tags for farmland units. Most tags are for sale in farmland units. I would use those before I bought an extra.

By the time gun season is here I'm going to guess most if not all will be sold out. At my place I still do not want to shoot any does this year because I want the population to grow and I know my neighbor's will be shooting so I bought a tag for the Central Forest Zone where my other place is and has a good number of does.
