A couple of pics of my clover chicory plot

The clover is Alice white and either marathon red or freedom MR. If memory serves me it is marathon. The deer are pounding the chicory. This plot was mowed Labor Day weekend and the deer have kept up with it well. Gypsum was also spread before mowing @40# on just the clover. The clover portion of the plot is about 1/4 acre.

chicory looks great, my big concern with growing it is weed control, my seedbed seems to hold tight until I plant new stuff, then bam, fox tail grass goes nuts. then its time for more cleth,, and money. sure I'll give it a try one year. clover looks awesome as well.
