My new spoiler!

I parked it out there a couple hours ago from a heated garage.

Should give you good down pressure on those front wheels in reverse.

We had a nasty thunderstorm nasty night with an air temp of 23 degrees. Springfield Mo had a tornado warning last night with an air temp of 35. Ice storm warning didn’t pan out which I am thankful for.

Ksgobbler.. I was getting hail damage alerts about that. Not sure how close you where but I imagine hail really shattered vinyl siding in those temps! Guys like me love hail everywhere except our fruit trees lol

They called it sleet but I have never seen sleet larger than a pee like we had last night.

So that is how they find you? We took ping pong to softball size hail back in late Aug 2016. We had roofers showing up I had never heard of. It shredded my neighbors vinyl siding, dented up his roof, and generally made a mess of things. It did $300 in damage to my less than a year old roof. Dented up my gutters and fascia and knocked out my screens on the west side of the house. Insurance wouldn’t replace gutters because it was cosmetic. We had roughly 1k in damage and insurance covered none of it. We went a pic of me holding softball sized hail to the local tv station which they ran on air. I had every roofer within 100 miles show up.

Yeah we have apps for that. Shows what size hail hit within a hundred yards accuracy. It's scary actually. If you had hail that size I can guarantee it took a bunch of years out of your roof. I had one last year the roof was only 5 days old and trashed it with only one inch hail (and a eye that spots hail damage to fund habitat and land). You have a really bad insurance policy or company if they didn't cover things using cosmetic excuse. I'd like to know if they use that reason for cars in fender benders lol. Seriously though I've seen people get screwed, and some practically win the lottery. Don't buy insurance online, they know what they're selling even though you don't really know what your buying (until you need it). you need a agent who you can walk in there office to raise hell if needed, hence why a local agent generally won't even sell the bare bones policies that may exclude cosmetics and such

Ours is state farm. Every roofer climbed up and said you have a very nice roof its not worth out time. The folks that installed it said they found a couple that hail went through the ridge caps.

I LOVE hail. Most profitable day of my life was March 6th, 2017. Big hailstorm hit Hutchinson, MN and I got about 2,500 sq of roofing and siding out of the deal. This year I hope it hits my house. Have about 90- (35-50)sq roofs and vinyl siding within a 10 min walk of my front door.

Things must be much different in KS. If I found one hole in a ridge cap I would be getting you a new roof, cause the old one wont last. State farm pays for every little small ding and dent here in MN. I have lots of pictures that shows the deterioration of a hail damaged roof that doesnt get replaced over time. If you have holes in the cap it certainly crushed the granules and will expose the fiberglass mat all over the roof eventually. The one thing you probably have going for you in KS is you dont have freeze/thaw as much as we do here to pop the granules out.

Yeah I'm also surprised state farm didn't treat you better. They are my favorite to work with, as long as it's legit they never argue.
Alot of times the people with hard to spot damage get the shaft as roofers (sales people) would rather take the obvious damage homes since it's less hassle than argue with adjusters over the less obvious

We have to get bids from roofers then submit them to State Farm. I probably had 10 roofers go up and look. Everyone of them said there wasnt enough damage to get insurance involved. I sprung for the good shingles and they were less than a year old and several said that is why the roof held so well. My chimney vent got banged up pretty good.

One thing about living here, we get enough hail you rarely replace a roof due to age.

I have State Farm here too, they are great to work with.
About five years ago we had a crazy bad wind with “wind shear” that lifted my shingles. The claims person showed up about a week later to look at the damage, climbed up on roof really checked it over did some figuring and wrote me a check right there for new roof.

Getting sick of winter precip. Our road is a huge sheet of ice. I was doing donuts in the SxS yesterday afternoon. We got more freezing drizzle last night.

Ironically now the wifes car is stuck in the driveway as she left to try and get groceries

3" of snow yesterday. Snow and freezing drizzle starting this afternoon. Then they are saying 8" of snow tuesday.

Sunny and starting to get HOT down our way now... 76 degrees at the moment.

My driveway is starting to look like a tunnel. It is between 4-6 feet deep on either side of my driveway. But it is winter, I live in the northland, I don’t have giant icky poisonous spiders, scorpions, snakes, crocodiles, alligators, and I also get a good 6 months away from mosquitoes, I just need to remember all that.
