I was looking through some old pictures and remembered the walking bridge we made out of an old bale elevator. We already had a texas style crossing for driving equipment through this area, but water is usually over boot tops when it comes to walking. My dad welded a screen platform and a hand rail onto the bale elevator and we put it in place with the skid steer.
It has some bounce to it, but seems fine as long you don't jump on it. We need some better bracing at the ends, the rock at the close end of the picture wasn't good enough and the high water tips it over in the spring. Still easy to put back in place with the skid steer but we really just need to brace it up so we don't have to worry about that. Might try some t-posts or something like that.
