Apparently Isreal today made pagers across Lebanon explode, it would ring and when you answered it then it exploded. If this technology is possible then what else is possible...............Suddenly every F150 steering wheel locks up when they program the trucks computer to do so, maybe everyones doorbell security system catches on fire when they program it to do so. I am not a conspiracy theory person but how in the world is this possible unless Isreal sold them the pagers with this in mind the entire time. Anything else should make us all worried. Maybe I have been a sleep but this is the first time I have ever heard of something like this, programming a device on the mass market to explode. Some one on this forum please explain to me why I have nothing to worry about tommorrow

Sounds like that's exactly what happened. It was a long term operation in which the pagers were outfitted with a small explosive. It wasn't as if they came up with an APP to make the things explode. I think you're safe.

We had a Verizon outage in my area today and people were legit standing outside their houses just staring vacantly at their phones and twisting them around trying to get non existent service…
 
I understand they used pagers because cell phones can pin point your location too easy

Israel's Mossad Rocks! The best spy & counter terrorism in the world. Every electronic device with a on/off switch or remote activation can be set-up for this. Think cell phones, appts that turn things on remotely (furnace, house lights, vehicles, etc.).

If this is what you feel is important to worry about, I would reassess the likelihood of this. You have a higher probability of getting killed in a car accident or killed by a mugger tomorrow.

What should be a real concern, is the 15-20 million illegal aliens being let into the US the last 3.5 years. Terrorist's around the world have used this opportunity to come in without any checks. how many have snuck in bomb making material, virus, or deadly chemical agents?

Live your life, focus on what you can control versus cannot control. Become more observant when out and about. A prepared mind favors chance!
 
So if technology cannot turn ordinary device into a weapon I will sleep better tonight but this brings up a new concern that Isreal just pulled off. So we import Televisions from a foreign country and they include an explosive device that explodes on July 4th all over America when you turn the TV on. I expect that until this happens we do not have safety protocols in place to prevent this from happening. It seems like we as a country tend to be more reactive than proactive, I mean someone could take over a plane with a boxcutter in the past but that will never happen again but this TV thing is plausible.

As dependent as the world is on the electric grids, knocking it out is an easy way to hamstring any country quick.
Makes me wonder why all the big world governments are pushing everyone to go all electric so hard......
 
Recently there was a journalist who was killed when his Mercedes sped uncontrollably off road. It is theorized that some entity controlled the car remotely.
 
Just don’t buy anything not made in America then. That mantra has been being preached worldwide decades. And falling on deaf ears for the same amount of time.

Can you buy electronics made in America?
 
Just read an article about cheap AI controlled drones carrying explosives and unable to track with gps, etc.....and how they are used by the 1,000's now in the warfare between Ukraine and Russia. Forget about AR rifles....this is scary stuff.
