She’s a beaut. You can just tell she’s gonna be a good girlWe lost our family dog (golden retriever) back in August. Wife has been on the lookout for a new puppy ever since. And now both our boys had a puppy on the top of their Christmas list. I'm sure you can guess where this is going by now, yes Santa came early.
We went to an adoption event to look golden retriever mix puppies and somehow left this little girl. She is said to be an 11 week old australian cattle dog (blue heeler) mix. Any guesses on the mix and full grown size. She is currently 14 lbs and they told us she should get to the high end of medium or low end of large. We hope they are right. DNA test to follow.

Sorry to hear about Pearl, they never make it long enough, no matter how they leave us.My lab Pearl pictured earlier in this thread was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and 4 days after the diagnosis she went to the happy hunting grounds at the age of 6. I wasn’t going to get another puppy but found a litter of GSPs. They were all spoken for but I told the breeder if anything fell through to call me. 3 days before they were to go to new homes someone backed out and Molly fell into my lap.
Here she is on her 1st walk in the woods at 9 weeks old

Well she is almost a year old and seems to have plateaued at a measley 46 lbs. DNA came back as quite the mutt, not sure I believe the results. She is very active and once going doesn't have an off switch! We lost our family dog (golden retriever) back in August. Wife has been on the lookout for a new puppy ever since. I was going to do a DNA for my one dog too but my vet said they're basically just for fun. She didn't trust the results. Mother-in-law paid for it, I never would have. It is kinda cool but definitely wouldn't consider the results as spot on.I was going to do a DNA for my one dog too but my vet said they're basically just for fun. She didn't trust the results. She's a pretty dog!
