New York New Yorking. I have several friends in NY with suppressors, all with LEO exemptions from various departments and agencies. Even still, it's not legal to hunt with them in NY.

Im curious about those silencers. How close is the tolerances between the baffles and the bullet diameter. Ever had one tap a baffle and bullet wandered off target? Havent really seen any here in NY.

Giving this one a bump.
Pretty set on buying a CVA scout. Anybody get one? I did buy reloading components for 450 buhmaster, but debating getting a 44 mag instead. Been happily using 240gr XTP's in my modern muzzleloader for atleast 15 years. Probably more deer down with that bullet than any other over the years. Probably wouldnt be bad in metallic. Im not an old old man yet, but been doing less stalk hunting at camp each year. Sometimes just a slow walk to the stand n back far as on foot hunting goes. So, repeat shot not so highly needed.
Been thinking the bushmaster will kick good like the 450 marlin. 240gr vs 300gr heads is a 20% reduction right there going 44 mag. Might give me an excuse to get a new levergun too.......

Are suppressors legal in your state? If so I would buy one before I bought another gun.
